Equitech Tuesday #141: Baltipreneurs

ET #141: Baltipreneurs

This Tuesday (March 19), our tech community will descend upon Loyola University to support and celebrate this year’s Baltipreneurs as they present for Demo Day. A message from our Equitech Tuesday co-host, partner, friend, and Director of Loyola’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship Wendy Bolger:

Hi Baltimore Tech Community,

We are thrilled to host you on Loyola campus for next week’s Equitech Tuesday from 6-8:30. You might recognize some of the companies that will be pitching for our 5th annual Baltipreneurs Demo Day showcase, but we will guarantee there are surprises among these 12 ventures as well. This diverse lineup of Baltimore startups in a wide variety of industries all share in common their commitment to equitable job growth and wealth creation in Baltimore.

And finally, calling all trail-blazing women, nonbinary and gender-expansive leaders, tech founders, operators, VPs, directors, and more – the registration deadline for Scaling Deep is next week – March 22. Scaling Deep is a 7-month leadership program offering a unique opportunity to shape Baltimore’s tech and startup ecosystem towards care for the whole human, organization, and community. The program is meant for a small intimate group to grow together – so there are only 9 spots left! Learn more about the program, nominate and/or register here.

UpSurge Baltimore and Loam partnered this fall to create space for the women in our community to process the loss of late-Ecomap Founder, Pava LaPere on our Grief Walks. As we hiked, we heard your needs and hopes for our community. With your input – and in collaboration with Code City Strategies – we’ve created Scaling Deep, a fractal leadership program.

See you Tuesday!
