Setting Another Record in 2022 and πŸ‘‹ Welcome Techstars Equitech!

Meet the New Class of the Techstars Equitech Accelerator

It’s 2023, Baltimore Tech, and we have a lot to celebrate – and a lot to do!

2022 was another record-setting year for Charm City – with venture funding up 11% – in a year where the country was down 35%. So many of Baltimore tech’s founders and companies shined! They innovated, grew, raised money, won awards and contracts, and represented Baltimore at key convenings across the country.

Let’s celebrate our continued momentum, but keep pushing for Equitech. Because in 2022, nationally, founders identifying as women and people of color remained at under 5% of VC funding, an embarrassingly low number after years of pledges and commitments to do better supporting companies led by brilliant, diverse founders.

Speaking of Equitech founders, it’s time to welcome to Baltimore the new class of game-changing companies in the Techstars Equitech Accelerator.
