🚀 Welcome Techstars Equitech! 🚀Yesterday, we welcomed the Techstars Equitech Accelerator’s 2024 cohort – 10 AI-centered companies who will be accelerating in Baltimore for 13 weeks! The UpSurge team also just wrapped up a few days at South by Southwest including an oversubscribed 400 person Equitech Breakfast organized by mission-aligned partners (accelerators and foundations) from across the country. As we navigated the various events and convenings over the weekend, founders and investors came up to us to share that the Equitech Breakfast was the best event they had attended! It’s clear that Equitech, the vision for a thriving tech ecosystem with opportunity for all, is something that resonates near and far. And 50+ members of the Baltimore community coordinated on Coordle to optimize and support each other’s goals. Tonight, UpSurge, GBC, and the EDA Tech Hubs Consortium at Equitech Tuesday will raise our glasses to what we’ve accomplished thus far – breaking down silos, laying a foundation of collaboration, and fashioning a game-changing plan for our tech ecosystem.
