In 2023, UpSurge continued to bring together key stakeholder groups in our tech ecosystem, engaging them in the Equitech aspiration to build a thriving and equitable innovation hub. UpSurge worked to foster increased engagement by the public and private sectors in Baltimore’s tech ecosystem, ensuring the tech ecosystem is resourced to create fertile ground for entrepreneurs, tech leaders, and talent. By the end of the year, we validated a new strategy to better engage startups with regional customers as well as amplify their national exposure.
