UMBC has world-class graduate programs and access to great minds developing ground-breaking technology and innovation for space with NASAthe US Army, and environmental resilience efforts.  The university uses its place in Baltimore County to bring its research efforts and innovative programs to strengthen local schools and small businesses.

As a premier hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and business expertise, bwtech proudly offers Maryland entrepreneurs a wide variety of support, including expert resources, collaboration opportunities, and educational programs. bwtech’s distinguished group of Entrepreneurs in Residence and strong partnerships with UMBC, Baltimore County, MD Dept of CommerceTEDCO, the MD Tech CouncilCAMI, and MBIA help make our tech ecosystem robust, dynamic, and capable of driving significant innovation and economic growth throughout the region.

Equitech Tuesday meetings are all about connecting people and ideas, and this one is particularly significant. By holding it in Baltimore County, we’re happy to highlight how bwtech, UMBC, and our neighboring communities work hand-in-hand to drive innovation and growth throughout the region.
